Macau

If you take Vegas, set it back ten years, throw in a giant humidifier and turn everyone Chinese, you have Macau. Everywhere you look, new developments are being built – the most impressive being the brand new Venetian. While photography was prohibited inside casinos, I managed to grab a few shots between stops.

Landing in Hong Kong

Ever wonder what it’s like to be an ESL student? It’s a little lonely. In Hong Kong, no one knows what I’m saying. Always crowded, always alive, and only a sparse few to talk to.

Oh well. Silence never stops me.

Goodbye, Old Friend; Hello, Asia!

Goodbye, Dear Friend

After a year of outstanding service, it’s time for me to say goodbye and retire my beloved 30D. In it’s place comes a used (but oh-so-pristine) 5D Mark I to carry on the Canon line. Its first assignment: Asia!

I’ll be stationed here in Hong Kong and its periphery for the next nine days, and the following seven (starting on the 15th) in Singapore. If you folks are in the area, please let me know! I’ll be checking my blog, Facebook, Twitter as often – as always.

Five long years. It’s good to come home.
