I’ve been debating on taking the Moo MiniCard plunge, but now that I have, I can safely say I’ve been nothing but ecstatic with the results.

For the uninitiated, Moo sells customizable, half-height business cards (as well as a handful of other customizable goodies). The cards are printed featuring your favourite images on one side and the text of your choice on the other.

As a way of demonstrating my portfolio, it was paramount that these cards portrayed my work well – and Moo did not disappoint. With my photos faithfully recreated on a 16pt stock with a matt laminate finish, the cards stand out boldly in both appearance and texture. I’ll see how future contacts react to them, but the feedback to date has been unanimous: these cards rock.

What do you folks think? Do you have Moo cards of your own? Post yours in the comments!

P.S. A word of warning to those interested: when printing dark photos, make sure to up the exposure a bit. I wish I did.

Bought used, my Canon 30D came wearing an el cheapo screen protector. While it’s left my screen unmarred, reviewing photos has been a blurry mess.

While I can’t comment on the Invisible Shield’s durability just yet, I will say that it is the most transparent protection I’ve ever seen. It’s a bit hard to demonstrate, but I’m seeing details previously exclusive to post-processing. For $15.00 USD, the clarity is easily worth the price.

How about you folks? Have you had a chance to try Zagg’s Invisible Shield? How does it fare in the long run? How are it’s competitors?

P.S. If anyone tells you a 40D protector fits on a 30D screen, they’re lying. Not difficult to cut, but a pain if you have clumsy hands like me.
