Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to the blog dedicated to reviewing the best food in Vancouver: Yum! Vancouver.
Conceptualized over a year ago, Yum! Vancouver ran into a number of hiccups on its way to inception, but it’s here, and I’m proud to feature Shota Sushi & Grill in Kerrisdale as our first restaurant. Though a little pricey, Shota definitely lives up to its name as “the best sushi in Kerrisdale”. (Care for the details? Hit the link!)
Much like the food, I’m also looking for some world-class company; if you have discerning tastes, enjoy writing, and don’t mind geeking out about music, photography, and marketing, I’d love to have you along for some grub. Interested? Let me know in the comments!

It might be useful to start using some sort of rating system, to make it very easy for people to get an overall feel of reviewer’s opinion at a glance. I can imagine people, looking for a place to eat, don’t want to have to read a full page of text for each place they are considering; instead, I imagine they would rather quickly narrow it down to two or three choices and read each of those reviews in detail to make their final decision.
Thanks so much, Nicholas! While we can’t do a rating system (ideally, all food on Yum! Vancouver should be top-notch in quality if not value or experience), I have implemented a synopsis box at the start of each review so people can get a gist of what the place is all about. Great call, man. Much appreciated!
